Celebration of Festivals
Sanghi temple is a blessed host to thousands of devotees who throng the premises all year round for blessings of Lord Venkateshwara and other deities. People perform various life events and major Poojas at the temple. Some of the key events celebrated at the temple are:
New Year
The first of day of every New Year sees devotees coming from far and beyond to seek blessings of the Almighty for a blessed year ahead. The temple is bustling with positivity and reverence when more than 1 lac people gather around.
Shivratri
The temple celebrates this majestic festival of Lord Shiva with much enthusiasm and admiration. In the morning, Bilva Pooja is performed where Bel Patra are offered to the lord symbolising spiritual growth and prosperity. In the night, Rudra Homam, a ritual of lighting the Vedic fire in reverence of Lord Shiva to invoke his divine blessings and to steer away from negativity, is performed. This Homam or Hawan is performed by priests while chanting Vedic Mantras.





Ugadi




Brahmautsav
The Brahmautsav is a mega event spanning a period of 5 days, celebrating the founding day of the temple as well as the birth day of the Deity. This festival is one of the most iconic celebrations at the Sanghi Temple and a lot of Poojas and Homams are performed during the auspicious 5-day period.



Janmashtami
Lord Krishna’s birthday is celebrated at midnight with a special Pooja. This celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth is believed to usher joy and prosperity to all.




Ganesh Chaturthi
Lord Ganesha’s festival is a 9-day festival at the temple. The Sthapana or installation of the statue is performed at the Kalyan Mandapam in the temple premises. Grand Poojas are performed on all 9 days. During this period, there a special 3-day continuous Ganapati Homam performed by the priests in service of the problem-solving God. The Visarjan takes place on the 9th day.
