Guidelines for Devotees
Sanghi Temple and its premises are a sacred ‘Deva-sthanam’, land of the lord. Respect shown towards this sacred place is sincerely requested and deeply appreciated. Please make a note of a few things to keep in mind while at temple premises.
Do's
- Dress modestly and respectfully.
- Remove footwear before entering the temple.
- Respect temple customs and traditions.
- Maintain silence and a peaceful demeanour.
- Follow the instructions of temple staff and volunteers.
- Deposit offerings in the Hundi only.
- Use dustbins and keep the premises clean.
- Show respect to rituals, priests, and fellow devotees.
- Take care of your belongings (Management is not responsible for loss/damage).
- Respect traffic rules and parking norms; avoid arguments.
Don't
- Do not enter the Garbha-griha without permission.
- Do not carry weapons or explosive substances.
- Do not throw waste outside designated bins.
- Do not break coconuts inside the temple complex.
- Outside food is not allowed.
- Do not touch idols or sacred items unless permitted.
- Avoid playing loud music within temple areas.
- No littering, spitting or smoking.
- Avoid arguments or disruptive behaviour.
- Professional photography equipment is not allowed.
- Photography of deities is strictly prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed inside the complex.
- Do not feed monkeys. Be cautious of them.
